I’m guessing these are RIFA queens. Been seeing dozens of them every early evening since we arrived.

Caught one to see what will happen.

Thank you for confirming. Based on all the other posts, this seemed to be the most likely candidate. Plus the fact that my entire neighborhood is covered in their nest mounds. I am also seeing what are likely Brachymyrmex obscurior from prior posts (caught one) and another that I’m not sure of. I will submit an ID request with the template info along with a decent picture once I find my microscope from the move.
