I would NOT trust Camponotus pennslyvanicus with that stuff if the colony has majors. They are excellent diggers, and can only be stopped by healthy (ideally hard) wood, metal, smooth AND hard plastic and glass.

It is a Camponotus sansabeanus colony, not sure if that makes any difference.
