I have 2 colonies. Someone told me they are pheidole obscurithorax but I’m not sure. Found in South Florida.

Yeah it does look like P. obscurithorax, but it will be nearly impossible to confirm without better photos.
I'd agree with Manitobant, Pheidole obscurithorax appears to only be found in northern and central Florida, and queens also appear to not be as shiny as these. Pheidole megacephala on the other hand, is a common invasive across all of Florida, and colonies are known to be highly polygynous.
