I know this topic is a little sensitive but I had to bring it up. A lot of new people who join formiculture specifically Floridians are turned away because they are called prenny. When I joined a lot of people called me prenny just because I am a Floridians and my name is a little foreign to most of you. Thanks to United Ants for helping me through this. I know that a few people don't know what prenny ment and get scared and get turned away. My personal opinion is that we all should wait to see if they are selling ants and then we can call them prenny. I just want to know everybody's thought on this that's it I do not want to start a big argument. So what are your thoughts?????

Yeah I agree with being kind and helpful to new users, and not just accusing them because they are from Florida.

So what do you mean by "prenny"? I am guessing it is a name for someone who buys nonnative ants. I agree with you, we should wait to see what they are really like, before we make assumptions. Even if they do buy nonnative ants, people should not call them names. Just to be clear, as my signature says, I strongly disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that are not found in your area.
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right were you live!

Yeah unfortunately with all the damage Preny has done there is a general suspicion of new floridian antkeepers. He really is giving the state a bad name which sucks because most antkeepers from there are great people.

no, Preny is a lot worse than that. He is a mentally insane kid who scams people for the fun of it and evades bans on the forum/antkeeping discord servers with literally hundreds of alts.So what do you mean by "prenny"? We do not need to go in depth about who or what he is and has done. I do agree that there can be more patience among members with incoming accounts.
