Hello, been lurking around for about half a year and figure it's time to get myself more acquainted into the ant keeping community. Obviously I'm from Denver and currently keep a colony of Pogonomyrmex occidentalis of about 150 workers and a colony of Lasius brevicornis with 3 queens and a few nanitics. I've kept Camponotus years ago with little success but also much less knowledge. Looking forward to learning and sharing this journey with you all!

Welcome! Good luck with those colonies! I love Lasius brevicornis and hope to keep some Pogonomyrmex in the future.

Thank you I absolutely love my Pogonomyrmex! They are a joy to keep, active, easy to care for, aggressive, easy diapause, and can't climb smooth surfaces which is huge for me because I like my natural style set ups. My Lasius I've only had for maybe a week so I look forward to thier growth.

I am about 17 years old now and have been always wanting to have my own YouTube channel like AntsCanda or Andrews YouTube channel. I am going to start getting into this hobby of mine full-time. I wish you all luck with your ant keeping!
