Hi, i was just wondering if a queen is infertile can she still lay eggs and if so what would they hatch to be?

Yes, she can lay eggs. They will hatch into male alates, because in eusocial insects haploid eggs (eggs with only one set of chromosomes) will always develop into males.

If your queen layed eggs during winter, even if the queen is fertile, the eggs will be infertile and never hatch. Put them in the fridge for a few months.

this is also downright false. No hibernating ant species (even infertile queens) lay eggs in winter, as eggs are unable to survive the cold. Only larvae and adult worker ants can hibernate.

Depends. Messor barbarus likes to lay eggs during the final weeks of their hibernation cycle, but then they also only hiberate at 10-15°C and don't really ever go fully immobile.
