We do not. The only harvester we have is actually native here and is Pogonomyrmex badius.

Um I already posted I am in India and I am constantly looking for weaver ant queens

He asked are you going to keep them in India, not if you were in India. I think people are curious if you are planning on bringing ants to the USA. The only legal way to do that would be as dead specimens preserved in some way (at least, as far as I know, this is legal, someone please correct me if I am wrong).

I am going to release the colonies as these are all native species to my state
#34 Offline - Posted May 27 2023 - 7:34 PM
I will also try a multi species attempt with the camponotus irritnas queen and camponotus compresesus. C. Compresseus flies later in the year while C. Irritnas flights are just ending.
As for messor yes we have two messor species in my state.
Weaver ants my state fly a little later in the year in the end of June. Luckily I will still be here. My dad told me he used to see Weaver ant workers every where when he was a kid. So fingers crossed I find some.
Ps
Sorry for my wrong spellings

My messor queen did not make it sadly. I do believe she had not mated.
#38 Offline - Posted June 8 2023 - 11:41 PM
Oh no, that is sad.
Don't give up, though!
