Another one (both are the same ant). This one is considered fairly rare in my area. I was very fortunate to find her! I am much better at taking photos now than I was when I took these (I'm still nowhere near perfect, though) so hopefully I can get a little photo shoot of another in the future with better quality and lighting!
Poneracantha triangularis? I got distracted by Proceratium at first but it was pretty clear that none of them were rugose enough.
It just depends on you whether or not you want to add the location of the ant, you can throw it out as hint as well if you want. Also almost forgot to mention, you can use someone else's pictures as well (as long as the picture's owner agrees to let you use it).

There is not Odontomachus in Iowa so I don't know the species, but obviously Odontomachus.

Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right were you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that are not found in your area.
