What ant is this? 1-5-23

It is around 3-4 mm and it is a darkish orange with a single small black stripe on its abdomen. I found it in my backyard today under a rock. I am near Santa Monica, CA

Is there actually a way to delete comments or do people just type deleted?

Mods can hide posts, so they no longer appear. We cannot delete them.

Just write deleted.

 

 

No. Doing that is technically spamming and will get you warned. If there is a very good reason for a post to be deleted (there usually isn't), just ask a mod.
