This is a placeholder for a thread on basic ant keeping for people absolutely brand new to the topic. I'll be covering basic ant husbandry as if you'd never considered ant keeping a hobby before. I'll be focusing on setups that you can make or prepare yourself, not the pre-made formicariums that a few companies are offering now. As I have time between classes and work, I'll fill each section.
I want to do a separate, similarly basic guide to anting as well. Perhaps later they can be combined into a single FAQ?
This is a preliminary list of the topics I'll be covering. Any suggestions are welcome and desired!
