Our spider shop is LIVE! Actually it has been for a while but the sales came in almost immediately and we've been busy getting those orders out that it slipped my mind to share the update here! Go check it out, there's a few products that can also be used for ants!

Such as a really easy way to keep a fruit fly culture using mason jars.

and the magnetic feeding accessories!

Here is a really quick video of how feeding with our fruit fly kit is a breeze, this is an example using our spider enclosure but it can also be used with our ant products.

We released a new all-in-one tunnelling set-up!

We are also aiming to release a vivarium enclosure that can be used for several purposes like isopods or other small critters by the end of the week.

Thank you for checking us out and supporting our shop. We truly appreciate you!

As someone who has primarily built my own stuff for almost a decade now, and when I did buy my own stuff it was always tar heel ants. I love your designs. I'll be putting in a order yet this week. Do you guys have the inventory in stock or do you build it upon order?

As well, any idea how long I can expect the hydration to last in this design before needing to be refilled?

I'm really happy to see that you love our designs! We do appreciate your support!

Some of our products are made and ready to go, some are partially made and just need a few final touches and some are made to order (mostly nests), this allows us to make updates if needed and start sending out the updated version immediately instead of having to sell out stock to replace with the updated version.

As for refilling the array it really depends on outside factors as your home could be colder than my home or you can be living in a place more humid than I and so on. From our experience 1ml of water or less will last 2-3 weeks. You can tell if you need to rehydrate by looking at the cotton against the glass of the tube. Wet cotton looks different on the glass vs. dry cotton. Add water slowly so you don't accidentally flood your ants and check regularly to ensure you don't accidentally let it dry out completely.

I browsed through the catalogue, and I must say there is some really innovative stuff in here!

I'm gonna probably order one of these as well. You guys should consider creating larger nests of this type in the future as I'd like them for my large Camponotus colonies.

It can be arranged! E-mail info@poramorart.ca with the size that you're hoping for and we'll make it happen.
