How do all of you feel about trapjaw ants? In my personal opinion they are the best ants. From their beautiful glossy coloration, to their ferocious appetite and enormous trapjaw mandibles these ants sure do amaze me.

I LOVE trap-jaws, the way they hunt and walk is so entertaining. My colony of trap-jaws might be my favorite colony it’s a close tiy with my Acromyrmex though.

I keep: C. modoc, C. sansabeanus , C. maritimus, Formica argentea, M. mexicanus , Odontomachus brunneus , Pogonomyrmex californicus, Pogonomyrmex rugosus,
