Dumb question.

How do you clean a chambered bamboo tube?

Also you’ve placed ants in there and they’ve dug up some of the plaster lining and sand…now you’ve moved them out…how do you repair it?

You can clean it by running water through it and then letting it dry out.

 

As for the missing sand/plaster, you can't do anything really.

Could you repour plaster in and sand etc? Maybe like though a straw in to each chamber…

You could, but I don't think it would bind well to the spot.  You could also use cyanoacrylate glue and sprinkle sand on it, but not worth it personally.
