How long should I hibernate my ants for and when should I hibernate them. I have had them in a refrigerator for about two weeks now. Is it ok for me to take them out if I choose the wrong time?

The normal hibernation time for ants is 3-4months.keep them in the refridgerator and wake them up as early as march,as i do for my previous componotus colony.

Base it off of wild colonies in your area. But I'd at least shoot for three months.
