Socal Antkeeper Looking For Pheidole Cerebrosior

Looking for Pheidole Cerebrosior.

 

In Socal, willing to pay for shipping.

 

Just had my queen died, and was one of the colonies I was most looking for, she left an orphan worker with some brood. She had her first worker die a week ago, maybe this was a sign :pensive:

I checked the Frontpage of his ant market thread and don't recall seeing a listing selling pheidole cerebrosior on it.

But thanks for the suggestion.

Yeah they seem to be quite fun and easy. I have a pheidole hyatti colony if you are interested. Larger than cerebrosior but definitely a fun species. If you are interested DM me for further info. Cheers!

Gotcha, thanks for the offer. I will think about it. Appreciate your assistance in this problem and reading my rambles.

I think the past I would have def jumped onto any pheidole species, but my heart has been won over by cerebrosior due to their dark brown to orange coloration to the point my brain just wants that specifically. Maybe, when I stop being so childish 😔.

Also, not that I failed cerebrosior, my brain wants a second chance to protect my ego. 😔

Well, my friend. I think there's another ant species that will win your heart over... Pheidole micula.

 

 

 

 

 

Is there any particular reason? 

 

*Googles* Ouh, they are quite nice, yes. Their coloration is not exactly as cerebrosior, but they have a beautiful range of brown to yellow in their own right. Magnificent!

 

Since you reminded me how beautiful pheidole can look, I wanted to share some pictures that I took, that won me over.

What about Pheidole gilvescens?

 

I appreciate everyone's offers, and they all seem to be great species. I am just not too sure, I might consider them. More pheidoles, the merrier?

 

I just feel rude to ignore the replies, but also rude to respond without any actual plans moving forward, since it sounds like I am baiting people. Maybe, I am overthinking this, lol.
