1. Location of collection - I found her floating in a swimming pool in Albany Oregon.

2. Date of collection:  Mid September
3. Habitat of collection: In a neighborhood.  Lots of grass, shrubs, trees and pavement.  This is in NW Oregon.
4. Length: Apx 5mm, maybe a little less.
5. Coloration:  She is a red color, similar to the Pogonomyrmex's we have in the eastern Oregon desert.
6. Distinguishing characteristics - none that I can see.
7. Anything else distinctive- none that I can see
8. Nest description: I don't know where the nest is.

9. Nuptial flight time and date:  I found her mid September, in the late afternoon.  I don't know how long she had been floating in the pool.  I did not see any flying ants.

This is a Manica species, if you get a side profile picture of the peitoles then there could be further identification.

Edit: I didn’t realize how small this queen was, I concur with it being Stenamma

I’d say Manica hunteri or Manica invidia just because they are the only red Manica species listed in antmaps under Oregon. Take my answer with a grain of salt though.

These are photos of Manica hunteri if you would like to compare your queen with my hunch.

M. hunteri gynes have a spike that protrudes on the underside of the post petiole, which this queen lacks in the first picture - this would make it M. invidia. A better picture would only further confirm this.

I'm pretty certain it's Myrmica since Manica does not have propodeal spines

It's Stenamma. Manica are much larger and don't have propodeal spines. It's not Myrmica either, look at the petiole, the anterior peduncle is too long.
