I hope you are well.

I'm trying to find the following caps for closing my nest's connection holes, however, I could not find them.

These are the caps that THA and several other formicariums uses (please, look at the attached photos).

I have tried several combinations including the words "rubber", "plastic", "clear", "cap", "lid", "top", "plug".

Does anyone know what is the proper name?

And what would be even more useful, does anyone know where I could buy them?

Thanks a lot!

Surprisingly hard to find little things. The ones like this are specifically “hollow tapered plugs.” I assume the people selling these are buying in bulk from China (possibly through Alibaba, which lists them as “Expanding Mouth Plugs”) and selling them for a small profit, as I don’t know anyone manufacturing these transparent ones anywhere else.

These seem to be marketed almost exclusively to ant-keepers, so if you search “formicarium plugs” or “ant farm plugs,” these will pull right up. Here’s the link for Underground Citi’s shop that sells them in small quantities and the sizes 1cm (10mm, which should work for THA’s standard 3/8” connector ports) and 1.2cm (12mm) (I’ve seen a few people on here recommend UC’s formicariums, so I assume they’re reputable, but I haven’t purchased anything from the myself):

+1 to that etsy link. I've bought from them several times (they do those pink plaster/white plastic formicariums you see in a lot of pics) and they're great. Those plugs are very useful and have some adaptability since they're so flexible, I use them to keep my Tarheel holes closed too.
