So I was browsing through antwiki and saw that there are pictures of Camponotus cruentatus on the page about Dinomyrmex, in fact the only pictures that are in there are of Camponotus cruentatus and not Dinomyrmex. If you look at the page for Camponotus cruentatus it uses the same pictures but has no mention to Dinomyrmex whatsoever. Is Camponotus cruentatus used to be Dinomyrmex or is it just some mistake?

Looks like there were two Camponotus gigas, coined completely separately from each other: Camponotus gigas (Latreille, 1802) and Camponotus gigas (Leach, 1825). C. gigas (Leach, 1825) became synonymized under C. cruentatus and Camponotus gigas (Latreille, 1802) went on to become Dinomyrmex gigas. AntWiki probably just got something mixed up due to them having identical synonyms, despite never actually sharing any taxonomic history.
