So on the 12th I ordered a 1Q 1-10W colony of M. navajo from Carlbingustoes, they weren't able to ship until 2 days ago and they are expected to arrive on Saturday, the 27th. But because of the wait they gave me 2 free P. rugosus queens(I also have a permit for those) which I have been wanting for awhile. So yay!!!

I have some good news and some really bad news. I will start with the good news first; All Queens arrived alive. Bad news; All workers and brood are dead. This probably happened because of the fact that its cold here, the sand was tossed around during shipping, condensation. I know this because the queen was buried in sand when she arrived. Anyway this really sucks. All queens are now as happy as I can make them. The harvesters have seeds and substrate, one of them has a foraging area. The pot queen drank a bunch of sugar water last night so yeah. Pics will arrive really soon

Well the queen hasn't recovered yet and probably never will sadly. she hasn't laid any eggs. And unless she dies or does something this journal will not be updated. Though it is possible I may buy another colony of these.

I have some bad news 
she's gonna die soon 
I really hoped this wouldn't happen but it did. I may get some more from SleepyAsianAnter after Christmas so maybe but her death is gonna hit me hard. This journal will turn into a Pogonomyrmex rugosus journal until I get more pots.
