Right now I have two M. mexicanus queens and I want to know what I should feed the repletes once they arrive to turn them different colors. I just thought I would post this question so that I didn’t poison my ants trying to change them a certain color. Thanks

I keep: C. modoc, C. sansabeanus  :D, C. maritimus, Formica argentea, M. mexicanus  :D, Odontomachus brunneus :D, Pogonomyrmex californicus, Pogonomyrmex rugosus,

M. mexicanus may be fed colored sugar water (via food coloring) in order to achieve different color repletes

Agreed. I use basic food dyes and have had great success with turning my repletes blue, green, yellow, orange, and red! Fun fact I did that I did all that to just one colony.
