2 queens, peoidole and not sure. can you confirm?

The first one is a Pheidole sp. queen and the second one is a Dorymyrmex bureri queen.

Found two seperate queens same day. 6mm long.

Thinking the solid colored one is peoidole. But could be wrong

2nd one. Not sure. What you guys think?

Both caught in Oklahoma City. September 1st. Found walking around the ground.

The multi colored ones already have a huge clutch of eggs. Maybe 10 eggs if not more.

First ones phedole, not sure what sp, and second us brachymyrmex maybe?

I agree that these are Pheidole and Dorymyrmex. Nice finds.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).
