Helllooooo, sorry for the lack of updates but Onyx brood is still in the small larvae stages, so I'm assuming she's trying to hibernate, but I don't really know how to do that, and I don't want to mess up and have her die, so if I can't find something that'll work, I think I may have to sell her to a more experienced ant keeper...

No. Just keep it as it is and try giving her a bit of sugar water. She is likely running out of a food store cause she has been re founded multiple times. Not to be harsh but in reality she should have workers by now.

Yea... hopefully it's just me and not the queen I'll check up on her less too, if that'll help, maybe like once every 7 days now, I'll give her some sugar water too

Giving her some sugar water along with possibly a cricket abdomen or something could help give her a boost if you're worried about her.

I’m guessing that this queen did not make it sadly. Maybe I’ll find some this year and I’ll make a journal on them.

Hey guys I'm back!!! Sorry I was gone for awhile had to take a break from acting but I'll be active over summer, but yes this queen sadly passed. I'm pretty sure she was infertile though as her larvae never really developed, but hopefully this year I'll be able to catch more!!!
