Tonight I caught two queens one on my black light and one in my brightly light garage. One I suspect is a Pheidole sp. and the other is probably a Brachymyrmex or a Lasius. I need your help to get a more positive ID. Here are so pics
Pheidole sp. Size: 4mm
Brachymyrmex or Lasius sp. Size 5mm
Pheidole sp. Size: 4mm
Brachymyrmex or Lasius sp. Size 5mm
I keep: C. modoc, C. sansabeanus , C. maritimus, Formica argentea, M. mexicanus , Odontomachus brunneus , Pogonomyrmex californicus, Pogonomyrmex rugosus,

The second one is Brachymyrmex. The wings obscure a lot of her features, however she is much to small to be Lasius.

Agreed, and the first one is a Temnothorax sp. If u can get a good view of the petiole for yourself, they are pretty easy to ID down to species.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.
However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:
Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).
