This journal may have 1-3 month gaps due to the fact that I don't love making journals. This queen was bought from benxixi about a week ago. My very first honeypot colony (Myrmecocystus testaceus) was attacked and killed by monomorium workers, so this is why I purchased this queen. The queen had already laid eggs when I received her, and I moved her to a new test tube with sand. I have not been able to see her eggs against the sand since, so hopefully she didn't eat them. I am challenging myself to not check on the queen very often, but it certainly is a challenge. In am currently heating her at about 90 degrees at all times, so hopefully she'll give us workers in a month or two. Pics below
