Camponotus for sure. I've had them for a few months. She is huge btw. If you need more info, just let me know

We'll need a picture or two.
Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.
However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:
Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

Also, I'm pretty sure the mother colony that produced this queen is 50 yards from my house under a rather big tree. At the base of it in between fissures next to huge roots.

Looks to be camponotus vicinus

I know vicious has many variations. I was looking at Camponotus sansabeanus as well because of that colony in my backyard. They have yellow super majors that I have seen roaming. The minors look somewhat identical. They both seem to be cared for equally though...slow and deliberate

Didn't even think it was Vicinus. I have gone through multiple pictures and they are more identical to them. Thanks for the help
