Recently picked up some queens and I must say that these are a beautiful camponotus species. The colors are outstanding. I’ll be featuring one queen and will update every week or so. 734B9E9C-A941-4921-9017-4B0D1ABFE774.jpeg

I'd recommend you either do updates once your queen has some workers or you keep her in the light so she becomes desensitized to it. It seems as though she keeps eating her eggs because of stress from the light whenever you check up on her. Just a recommendation  :D

Currently Keeping:

Camponotus US-CA02

Myrmecocystus Navajo

Want:

Pogonomyrmex Imberbiculus (PLEASEEEEE)

Agreed. This is a very shy species that should not be checked on too much.

Keep ordinary ants in extraordinary ways.
