So I’m wanting to ship some native queens in California but I’m wondering if there is anything I need to know since I know some of you guys ship them in California without a permit I’m just wondering if there is anything else I need to know

Shipping within your state is completely legal, no permit required. It’s shipping out of state that's the problem.

Solenopsis invicta is regulated nationwide due to its invasive destructive nature, but if your species is native ship them wherever the heck you want if they don't cross state lines.

As long as the destination is within California, you can ship Pogonomyrmex wherever and whenever you want, no restrictions or regulations.
