Wise ants.

This confirms my theory that Mc Donalds and Burger King are both disgusting.

Hi Ant Lovers,

Because we tend to get a lot of emails asking how to tell if an ant is a queen, I finally created a step by step video about it. Hope you guys like this week's video:

Hello Ant Lovers,

With it being Monday, as usual we've got a brand new video this week!

Today's video is a time lapse video of our black crazy ants and red tropical fire ants feeding on crickets for the first time. The two species take two different approaches to feeding on prey insects. Check out the video here:

Very educational and awesome. But most importantly....you said Caespitium so I finally know how it should sound. You answered a lots of questions for me so thank you. I need to remember to buy aquarium silicon from homedepot today so that I can attach my forumicarium to the glass wall and complete set up - If I heat the top with a cable, and water the bottom, it should gradient somewhat. I must feed the queen and 15 workers an insect. I keep forgetting and that's no excuse!

Happy you found the video helpful! Best of luck on your colony!

This week's video takes a look at ants in Hawaii that are involved in the process of producing some very common food items. Hope you like the video!

Holy cow........ The amount of ants in the outworld is what I'm expecting for "ant farms". This video was great. Actually really awesome -- because I saw it before when it was smaller..and to see how much it's grown...but wow.... the feeding frenzy. Hahaha....loved the opera music.

What are they going to do with their newly acquired tube space?! Tune in next month when the colony gets upgraded into yet another living space!!
