So this has been bothering me for a couple months. THis ad that is on the FC homescreen is terrible I have bought from all 3 sellers whos reputations are being damaged. THey had excellent customer service and good products. Whereas when I tried to buy from garret he was a bit sketchy. I just really don't like this ad

I've bought from 3 out of these 4 sellers. The "ant economy" is so tiny that people who like the hobby are more often in a position of not having enough choices or items are out of stock since the stores are small. Basically this isn't a competitive market at this stage. More ant shops is good for all ant shops as it makes antkeeping easier and then there are more antkeepers buying more stuff. 

None of ya'll are amazon or wallmart.  The focus from a business perspective should be growing the hobby and more stores is GOOD for all of the stores. 

So I agree, not the best ad. It's not like most keepers just have one colony and only buy products once. Put out more new quality antkeeping products and Ima buy 'em all.

I don't see how any seller's reputation is being damaged. This is literally a meme format ad, which if anything is giving the other 3 seller free publicity as well. You may not like it, but I don't see anything objectively wrong with it.

It might produce bias because beginners might think that people actually avoid the other 3 sellers. It's not obvious about being an advertisement either.

You are really pressed over an Ad!? It’s literally a joke, do you get sad when you feed your ants protein because it was one time a living insect with a loving family?

Unsure if the bolded words are a deliberate ploy into trying to say this was an illegal advertisement? Not sure how the bolded context would apply to this, but even in the bolded context the validity of the ad remains true.

Since May 2021, AntsEmporium has had over 1,000 orders, assuming the 3 featured shops have not had over 1,000 orders the ad in a broad interpretation still depicts the truth, AntsEmporium is a preferred store. In theory based on this number alone, it could be easy to argue that it is the shop ant keepers chose but that’s up to the court of law. Some detractors in the hobby may argue otherwise but sadly 95% of the hobby isn’t involved in these immature discord servers or lurking on forums. They keep to themselves, so even then a survey wouldn’t bring much validity in this circumstance.

Typical AAK Mods involving themselves into things they know hardly anything about, go back to your little rabbit hole of a server

For the record, I'm not butthurt. If anything, as others have said, this ad is just free publicity for me. But I have to wonder... why is Arthropod Antics up there. I'm not even a competitor to AE. Imagine if Walmart had an ad like that, and they listed Amazon, Target, and McDonald's. Like, it just doesn't make sense to have one of the three businesses being one that antkeepers don't even have to make a choice between. It would make much more sense to have Tarheel Ants on the ad instead, since I'm sure he has had well over 1,000 orders placed since May 2021, and he... actually sells ants. Just take it as a bit of feedback, I guess. Or leave me on there, for all I care. More free publicity for me!

Additional piece of feedback: At least for me, the text on the ad is barely legible. The resolution of the image is just too small for the small text to be readable.

Maybe it’s for formiculture vendors? Idk, I am kind of getting out of my own lane but… if he out Tar Heel ants up there, he would be technically(But who doesn’t know about tarheel ants) advertising for them, and he isn’t on formiculture(right?)? I actually didn’t know about one company up there before that(Or I forgot)

Please. People leave it at this. For the record, formiculture is a platform for learning and teaching. It is a place for people all over the globe to speak and share their experiences with ants. If you have any complaints then take it up with the server moderators. I’ve seen over the past few years an influx of people posting stupid things and complaining about thing that doesn’t effect the likes of them or the people they know. So if you see this please do Not put in your 2 cents and please leave this topic as it is so it can vanish to the bottom of the pile.
