This colony was previously owned by Anttics. I am receiving this colony tomorrow and will post photos when I have them settled in. I hope to have this colony well in the thousands and have a huge super colony. Let’s see them progress and watch them grow. Thanks.

Here are some images I just took. Also I gave them a large liquid feeder, some orange slices, and a nice juicy superstorm. Anyways here they are.

Nice! My Novos started dying off and are now only about 30 workers while they used to be at 200. They are living in a arthopod antitics vertical nest. Nice colony I hope they do well! Novos are so cool

Cool. Out of personal observation I’ve found that novos like more flat surface area than anything else. Anyone feel free to chime in. So I’d suggest putting them in a regular formisquarium or a regular flat Cocdeshijie nest.

Update 3/2/2022

Finally started seeing brood pop up in the nest after feeding the colony pretty much every day. Hopefully in about a month we will see a lot more activity and brood production. In fact I caught the queen today laying an egg.

Update 8/19/2022

So this colony is a favorite of mine. They are growing in numbers so much and are a treat to watch hunt prey items like mealworms, crickets, fruit flies, etc. I did move this colony into a THA Fortress for better viewing but once this colony is at a better size I will upgrade them back into a similar nest. The crazy thing with this colony and why I decided to update this journal today is due to the fact that a larva managed to spin a cocoon. This surprised me as this species is not known to do this often to my knowledge. I thought it was a cool thing and if I get any good pictures, I will for sure post them here.
