I found these two gals literally 24 hrs apart, one just moments ago. I almost feel like they're mimics, but I'm also unsure of that as well. They're both rather large, very deep, dark reddish brownish black all over with a slender, pointy gaster that is much darker than the rest of their bodies. They were both floundering in my bathroom sink, both nearly drowned but made full recoveries so far. I was also wondering if they're possibly a polygynous species, as I'm running out of room to keep all these queens but I've been dying to start a poly colony.

I keep: C. modoc, C. sansabeanus  :D, C. maritimus, Formica argentea, M. mexicanus  :D, Odontomachus brunneus :D, Pogonomyrmex californicus, Pogonomyrmex rugosus,
