I'm pretty sure that's a Monomorium sp. 

Perhaps M. minimum?

1. Location of collection: north georgia, U.S.

2. Date of collection: 7-24-15

3. Habitat of collection: dead brush near woods

4. Length (from head to gaster): very tiny. about 2/16ths of an inch

5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: smooth, shinyish

6. Distinguishing characteristics: very small. multiple queens nesting together.

7. Anything else distinctive: small

 
8. Nest description: compacted dead leaves and wood in some brush near woods. they were nesting inside dead acorn shells and such.

 

note: grabbed about five queens with about ten or so workers, and 3 or 4 eggs.

And yes, fully claustral, but unnecessary information, as they have workers. Unless you are just curious about this species.

thank you guys for the id. and yes it is necessary info, as i am new to ants, and i am trying to absorb as much knowledge as possible.
