I think this solenopsis queen is either carolinensis or molesta, but I am leaning toward molesta. I've never had a molesta queen look like this though, but I know they can have some odd coloration. Can someone confirm this with the pics?

I'd leave it as Solenopsis molesta group unless you can give us pictures of a worker with a microscope.

I don't mean to revive this post, but do molests have dark heads? It seems different than any I have kept.
molesta have several color variations.
