Camponotus chromaiodes question!

Hey everyone. Does anyone know how long a queen and a worker will live for camponotus chromaiodes? I was looking online trying to find that info, and what I found didn't make any sense. The only thing I could find about chromaiodes lifespan was the queen living 10 years and the worker living 7 years, which as far as I know, workers don't lay more then a year for the longest worker lifespans. (If I'm mistaken, please let me know). Also, what is the average size of a colony?

Nothing wrong with asking questions. That’s what the forum is for.
Ten years sounds like a good estimate to me. I doubt any one knows with definitive certainty how long one can live, though. Ant keepers can help answer some of these questions in time.
