So I have caught several Camponotus queens of various species. When doing this weeks feeding, I noticed there were a few queens that have died but have decent brood and up to 10 workers left. Is there a way to merge any of these workers and brood into remaining founding colonies? Or are these workers and brood better to leave alone and to die?

This would mostly be camponotus chromaiodes.

Merge the brood, but not the workers. The workers will attack their new colony.

Do I need to do anything with the brood prior to introducing theme to an existing colony? And anything that isn't a worker should be fine?

Yes, any brood item that isn’t a worker should be fine as long as they are the same species.

Callow workers can be introduced as well, I believe. They’re the super pale workers that have recently emerged from the pupal stage.
