I now have two videos of ants making noise. I wish I'd captured the sound of a Veromessor chewing on its formicarium - that was loud, too, like GNAW GNAW GNAW GNAW - but at least there are these two: a fraggle tapping at me, and now, loudly slurping thirsty Pogonomyrmex.

I love it when a little ant tries to take a person on. They are so brave.
