Hey I found some Pogonomyrmex queens and one queen looked similar to the others but was like 3/4 of the sixe. I think she may be occidentalis. I'm not quite sure though.

Pogonomyrmex occidentalis isn't found in Florida. You have Pogonomyrmex badius.

since you are in florida, the only species it could be is pogonomyrmex badius.
