I have a cremogaster queen whos have had her first workers,i was trying to move the queen cause i didn't make the setup properly and inside it's growing algae, and water is slowly running out. I used the light trick to move the queen into a new test tube but it's been about 3 hours and hasn't moved into it. I'm scared that it would start eating her eggs if i keep going but i need her to move.

I would say just dump them because Crematogaster are known for being really stubborn but I think you haven't given them enough time.

Agreed. 3 hours is not enough time. I would give it a full day and I'd just dump them in.

Yeah, just shake them gently out of the old setup into the new one. Light will not motivate Crematogaster to move at all. Heating the new space might do the trick if they are in a cool room.
