Hay I just got home and I checked in with my carpenter ant queen and I see this red dot I don't know if it is dangerous or not but it has got me worried so can you please help me find out what it is. Also you all do a great job please keep it up it helps me a lot. I will put some pictures on this.

probably eggs! Camponotus eggs are often red or pink -- not sure why
