I am living in ireland and don't know any local suppliers and don't want to have to ship from UK/US so some help would be appreciated.

Never even heard of any keepers from Ireland. You might have to go DIY.

Shipping from other EU countries should be cheap I assume. Lots of good ant shops in mainland Europe.
