1. Location of collection : Back porch of neighbors house

2. Date of collection: 4/21/22
3. Habitat of collection: wooded suburban area
4. Length: 11mm
5. Coloration, red head and thorax with black gaster
6. Distinguishing characteristics: Red head with black eyes
7. Anything else distinctive (ie: odor, behavior, characteristics relative to others in the colony, etc.).
8. Nest description : Somewhere near back porch, underground or under structure

9. Nuptial flight time and date 4/21

I collected five, all still have wings attached so I am hoping that at least one already mated.

Thank you for the ID! If they are socially parasitic will they lay eggs if I put them in a test tube set up?
