What are color codes i see dark blue, light blue and white, what does each mean?

It doesn't really mean much

Empty = 0 sightings during that month

White = 1 sighting during that month

Light Blue = 2 sightings that month

Dark Blue = >3 sightings that month

You can see the number of sightings inside the colored box, on the left is the species and on top is the month

It doesn't really correlate with any specific number of reports. It is just a simple visual indicator for the relative amount of reports that month.

I found some virgin alates that had dropped their wings in Pearsonville, CA. 1 out of every 2 nests had workers pulling virgin alates out of the nest.

They were actually flying though? Were any of them fertile?

I sold a few off. All the ones I kept (3) weren’t fertile but one queen I sold turned out to be fertile. I didn’t witness the flight but yes there seemed to be one. I found about 4 males walking around.
