Found a Stenamma brevicorne queen flying unseasonably early. Normally they stay in the nest until spring and fly from then into early summer.

So I started reading through this recently to prepare for the new year flights. From what I've read, it looks like Channey trail is very popular and you guys find a lot there. I live in Fontana and Channey is an hour and a half away, but I have mountains 10min away from me. Am I correct in assuming I can find just as much by going to the mountains by me instead? Could I go to etiwanda falls and find stuff, which is within walking distance from my house? I looked on satellite map and they look similar plant wise.
