I saw two Prenolepis imparis males today at around 2:30pm in the West Bay Area, CA

Species: Prenolepis imparis
Location: San Francisco, California
Date:  212-2018
Time: 2:30 PM

Temperature: 60 F
Humidity: 49%
Wind: Light wind
Rain: None

Okay this is weird but Bay Area schedules are wack.

everything is wack right now. there were bumble bees hanging out in the blooming bush at the beginning of January at work...

I just found a dead Camponotus male of the subgenus Myrmentoma. Camponotus species such as C. discolor, C. nearcticus, and C. snellingi  should be flying around this time in the southeast.
