1. Location (on a map) of collection: Black Star Canyon, Orange County, CA
2. Date of collection: 4/6/2022 around 7pm
3. Habitat of collection: Hiking trail in the woods
4. Length (from head to gaster): 10 to 12 mm

 

Looks similar to another queen that was identified as Camponotus Clarithorax, but is slightly smaller and her eggs are a lot smaller than the eggs from the Camponotus Clarithorax queen.

Liometopum species I think it is L.occidentale but I’m not great at identifying Liometopum.
