Currently Hypoponera, these are the best ants I can find in my neighborhood. Opacior and opaciceps are my two favorite species of the genus, since I like how some opaciceps workers get really pale orange when they eclose. Hence their name. They're also cool in my opinion since they're pretty common, but also an interesting cryptic species. Probably the first I'll ever have experience with, if my own Hypo queen gets to workers. Their hunting method is also pretty cool, since they primarily eat springtails and other minute insects living under leaf litter.

Worldwide is super hard to pick... for me, it'd probably be between Gigantiops destructor and Odontomachus erythrocephalus for flexing. Keeping-wise, probably Carebara diversa or Dinomyrmex gigas.
