I have recieved a colony recently of Camponotus semitestaceus. They have about 50 workers which includes minors, medians, and major. They are a wild caught colony and that should explain lack of minors but this colony will fill in that gap in no time as there is tons of brood. I am currently housing them in a tubs n tubes setup with the floor currently being made of dirt and plant matter which was baked in an oven to kill off any unwanted microbes and/or pests. I’m hoping this colony will flourish and we will see them grow in numbers quite fast. Anyways here are some photos I have taken of them.
