I am relatively new to the hobby and I ordered some test tubes in the the mail (size 20x150mm) I was wondering if they are big enough and if they are big enough to keep Camponotus (especially C. Modoc)

A normal size test tube is good for a founding camponotus queen and nanitics, but once the colony gets bigger they should be moved into a formicarium.

I second this. Camponotus founding chambers are quite small, actually.
