As the title states I'm looking for a native species of solenopsis within los angeles CA
willing to travel.
Prefer a smaller colony to grow over a large colony as I have unused nest in varying sizes from founding to about 1k

Obviously not the invasive invicta as its generally frowned upon.

If you want a small colony you are going to have to wait a little while to get xyloni or something like that. I suggest waiting till summer roles around and asking again. I’m sure I’ll have xyloni queens in stock by mid spring.

Currently: Considering moving to Australia
Reason: Myrmecia

In late May, I will be selling a 15k worker colony for $300-$350. You can dm me for more info on them if you're interested in them.

Forgot to say species..... Solenopsis xyloni

15k sized colony seems a bit excessive in size lol. Id much rather build up to something like that not just completely send it into that size

Out of curiosity, how does one even count workers when numbers get that high?

Its impossible to count that many workers and is just estimation.
