Ill second that they both look like workers. I don't know enough about the Formica genus to ID them to that, but I am almost positive you do not have a queen.

They are definetly workers. I think these might be Formica moki

usually queens are going to have a more dominate and pronounced thorax, and you can also see small scares where their wings once were....
